Have tried GTD for a while. Realised it’s not for me. I would like to know what alt-GTD productive systems HNers are using.

After trying different things (including GTD) I ended up using emacs Org-mode and Org-roam and I’ve been pretty satisfied for 6 months. I’m actually getting things done and I can find my notes easily.

The learning curve is a bit steep but well worth it.

Is org-mode its own productivity system? I thought it was an application that would also me to implement a productivity system like GTD.
