I do not know the author and do not agree with all conclusions/examples in that thread, but i believe the points about consent and the "100% democracy" (what some people refer to as anarchism) are of interest.
This is extremely interesting, and somewhat worrying. For instance, while I 100% disagree with the Canada truck protests, I also think that it's immoral to unbank them. Even if you consider them assholes, they do live in a modern society that needs a bank account to function normally, and as such it should be a human right for them to have a bank account if they want one.
Ultimately, I would be happy with a 60+% majority democracy. At least it wouldn't result in flip-flopping as often.
