Haven’t played this yet, but recently put 120 hours into (and highly recommend) the Demon’s Souls remake, also from Bluepoint.

They are an incredibly talented studio with a long history of best-in-class remakes, recently acquired by Sony - which now has them working on their first original IP.

Digital Foundry has some great interviews with Peter Dalton (technical director) and his team, which are also well worth checking out, as is the Demon’s Souls remake documentary from Noclip.

beautiful game, its available on cloud gaming services like PS Now
I love this game, I still play it on the original hardware, a still functioning Fat PS2. Beautiful game, and honestly deserves a play from all, whether that be through an emulator or a remake.

The soundtrack is also one of the best pieces that I've gotten on my iPod.

I can't stop peaking praise for Shadow of the Colossus.

I loved the game but man they were not afraid to bring the PS2 to its knees performance wise...
I don't know if it's nostalgia, but I don't recall having performance issues. The graphics were definitely pushing the console to its limits, and I can easily see it dropping frames.
The frame rate was poor already but it dropped deeply during some of the battle scenes. It's still my favorite PlayStation 2 game.
If they make a PS5 specific remaster, I'll buy that, too.
They did already, Demon Souls.
... of Shadow of the Colossus, sorry. I've already bought it four times.
They should put it on a console people actually have
I wish they would make a game that was just the exploration part of shadow of colossus but endless and procedural.

I mean something like minecraft or astroneer sort of fit the build but the focus is building and the mood is too colorful.
