It's way, way too late for that. The disinformation has already done its work, making it impossible for the West to act in a coordinated fashion. They don't need to continue to sow that division; it's self-sustaining. The sides are picked.
I'm sure that they want to continue it, to prepare for whatever comes next, and if it were offline for years things might change slightly. But it only needs the occasional nudge to keep it going, and there are plenty of channels for that.
Taking those sites down might feel like doing something in a situation where nothing can be done, but it doesn't really help at this point. It doesn't hurt, either, so you may as well, but the real lesson to learn was that this was a tactic that started over a decade ago and won't turn around quickly.
