How can I help the Ukraine defense forces?

Honestly I am trying to follow the instructions for giving funds to the army here https://armysos.com.ua/en/help-the-army But for an American the instructions are not clear. We are not used to giving direct to bank accounts and instead typically rely on credit card. Can someone help me figure out how to do this? Western Union didn't seem to work for me

Take this part and call or visit your bank:

Recipient name Charity fund ARMY SOS Bank JSC CB "PRIVATBANK", 1D HRUSHEVSKOHO STR., KYIV, 01001, UKRAINE Bank SWIFT Code PBANUA2X Recipient address 3/5 Vasilya Yana str., Kyiv, Ukraine, 01033 IBAN Code UA203052990000026003016809842

Correspondent bank JP Morgan Chase Bank, New York ,USA Account at correspondent bank 001-1-000080 Correspondent bank SWIFT Code CHASUS33

JP Morgan is the intermediary your bank will communicate with. And I believe JPM does know how to do banking in the US

And whatever you do OP, don't send funds to random organization's IBAN you find on the internet, unless you confirm them beforehand.

This particular organization is Army SOS, who describes themselves like this:

> Army SOS Citizen`s Initiative coordinates people`s efforts to help soldiers of Ukraine.

> We manage purchases of necessary ammunition, shields, intercommunication and reconnaissance facilities, uniforms and food supply. We deliver all goods directly to the unit`s emplacement and pass them right to the hands of our warriors.

Basically, civilian effort to help soldiers on the ground.

How do we know it's actually real and goes to Ukrainian fighters? Look them up in other reputable news-sources. Here are some:

Those sources all back up the website (they link to the same URL), so you can be relatively sure it's been verified. Also a bunch of politicians have mentioned the very same organization (unsure if they actually linked to it). Keep in mind that they have different bank numbers/IBAN shared depending on what currency you want to send over.

As soon as you see something on the internet you'd like to contribute to, make sure to verify, verify and verify it before you actually contribute, so you know you're actually contributing to the right thing.

Thank you since this one is seemingly well verified I'd like to get the word out
