It is a pity that the Federal Council is once again acting against the fundamental principles of Switzerland. Unfortunately, not the first time in history. The EU is not the UN.
The fundamental principles are based on a guy that didn't want to greet a hat. If William Tell was fanatically neutral, he would have greeted every hat including the Gesslerhut.

Switzerland's neutrality was never without exceptions. The neutrality was just a way of surviving as a small country in a dangerous environment. Putin's war is dangerous to Europe and Switzerland is a part of Europe.

You'd better read a book on Swiss civics.
By reading that book he might find out how Swiss fought on the side of Napoleon, Habsburgs, French kings, or made economic arrangements even with Adolf... all this while being "neutral".
Apparently you didn't invest much time on European history. I recommend reading about the Vienna Congress and the Hague Conventions.
