TL;DR: The Russian army relies heavily on railroads to resupply. Author estimates that beyond 90mi by truck from a railhead, the army will struggle to maintain rapid pace of advance due to logistic issues.

Note that this does not apply to Ukraine because (as an ex-Soviet country) it uses the same rail-gauge as Russia.
