Ask HN: Is it possible to crack a Multibit Wallet?

Hi there,

When I was up in the loft the other day I found an old HD and discovered it had a Multibit classic bitcoin wallet on it with some remnants of BC on there (not a life changing amount, about £900 LoLz). Trouble is I have no idea what the password is...

I heard there are some defects in Multibit that it may be possible to exploit? Does anyone have any details about this please?
