MailChannels CEO here. We wanted to support Cloudflare Workers developers to send emails directly from Workers scripts without the hassle and bother of domain verification or even a login to our service.
So it is a gift to spammers?
We already send email for millions of domains hosted by over 650 hosting providers. We have extensive spam and phishing detection capabilities and can handle the abuse.
How will you prevent someone sending emails on behalf of my domain?
We have capabilities to detect this sort of thing, but the best way a domain owner can prevent impersonation is by using DMARC.
It says no domain verification required. So would that mean the test email (test@example.com) would actually arrive?

[edit] Ok, I think I understand the product now https://www.mailchannels.com/outbound/ It's aimed at shared hosting providers so there is bit of expectation that not all email senders can be verified.

If example.com actually operated an MX, then the email would be delivered, yes.
