Sadly, they are real people. Many Chinese developers like to use this way to boycott the organization that speaks political statements that they are against.
Last time, the main developer of Go spoke out for Hong kong on Twitter. There were also many Chinese developers who created many trash issues to boycott the Go developer team.
So what? Has the EU sanctioned the US for invading other countries? Did Russia try to expand his military allies in the Americas? How did the US react when the Soviet Union tried to deploy missiles in Cuba?
The West always has such double standards and always puts itself on the high ground of human rights. You always shout against war and lay down your arms, but never ask why wars happen; it's not that you don't know why, you just pretend not know. Civilians in war are always pitiful, but it is the Ukrainian government that is now pushing the civilian population of Ukraine into war, and these politicians insist on being in cahoots with the US for their own interests in the face of successive Russian objections.
For a hundred years, China has been ravaged by imperialism, and we know better than anyone the hypocrisy and greed of Western imperialism. No matter how you try to argue, we Chinese are always on the side of justice.
Well, I don't think it's advisable for Chinese programmers to create issues on github to express their opposition. However, as an open source tool, it is not supposed to be involved in political topics. Since Facebook intends to use React to make a political statement, then it is inevitable that it is opposed by Chinese programmers.
I just posted a screenshot of React's issue list on Facebook. And that was removed by FB saying that it was against the community standards of hate speech.
well, seem that Facebook doesn't like people talking about React's issue.

EDIT: Just pasted some of the comments into a translator, and it doesn't seem they all want to support Ukraine
What did it cause this double standard?

Seems like they restricted commenting and opening new issues but haven't closed/deleted the issues yet.
EDIT: They appear to be closed (some also deleted) now.
