Options for UK immigrant to work at a US startup

Being on Tier2 visa here in the UK, I stumbled upon a great opportunity to be an early engineer in a US based (but fully remote) startup.

What would be our options to make this work? Startup opening a branch in the UK and sponsoring my new Tier2 is the most obvious one, anything else?
