Apple presses U.S. lawmakers on dangers of 'sideloading' apps allowed by bill (reuters.com)

Isn't the Apple App Store rife with dangerous apps? The whole point of a walled garden was that they would manually review each one, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Not much of a garden at this point.
