Considering the options to buy and download music keep disappearing every year, I am not at all surprised.

I love buying music. I'd buy more CDs if I could because I absolutely love physical media. But these days, when I find an artist I enjoy, odds are I simply am not able to buy their music. Most of the time you'll only find them on streaming services.

Having been burned many times before by streaming platforms that simply take away content I like overnight and without warning, being able to pay for an album and keep a copy of it under my control is infinitely better.
