The thread regarding Ubuntu 20.04 on the official frame.work community forum has a bit more information : https://community.frame.work/t/ubuntu-20-04-4-lts-on-the-fra... Even the fingerprint reader apparently works out of the box !
Does anybody know if this solves the S3/Hibernate/Sleep issues users have experienced with Ubuntu on the Framework laptop? I've heard some tales of serious battery drain overnight, but it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the article. And I can't CTRL+F on the website because apparently that button combo brings up...

forum search? Somehow? How and why on earth does Framework override CTRL+F on their forum? Is there someplace I can disable their ability to override this in Firefox?

Control + double F works with few of these modern forum softwares that override it.

Possibly this means yes?

I have `mem_sleep_default=deep` set in my kernel parameters. Resuming takes 8-10 seconds. If it loses any charge overnight, I don’t notice it.

I’m using Arch, FWIW.

I may have spoken too soon, I woke it up from sleep this morning and it was at 37%. Usually does OK, I'll probably hibernate it if I'm leaving it overnight.
Gotta say that it’s a bit supervising that these are issues you’re still dealing with. I remember power management issues being a problem 10 years ago when I replaced Windows on my shitty Dell laptop, and I wouldn’t expect the same from a manufacturer shipping Linux-first devices.
Using Fedora but the framework laptop is great! The screen ratio is a bit different than what expected but on the other hand it handles three tiled emacs windows well with the slightly taller aspect ratio.
