Ask HN: How some ShowHNs were able to have both url and text?

Normally when you post something, you either post a link with no body, or text with no link. However, I noticed some ShowHNs had both, for example https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=30517299. How was it achieved?

I have 2 speculations, not sure if one is correct? 1. The author submitted a link, then made a regular comment, and a mod decided to move that comment into the body. 2. The author filled both the url and the text fields when submitting the post, in which case the text would be hidden by default, and a mod decided to reveal it.

Since this happens very often, I'd think people already asked it, especially those who were planning to post their ShowHNs. But I searched and found no related discussions.

Hm, I’ve never noticed that before. I’m assuming maybe it’s your 2nd theory that this happens if you enter both a URL and text? Maybe it’s a new HN feature?
