What's crazy to realize is, if we didn't have healthcare for people with covid, that a significant fraction of the world would have died before reproducing, and the resulting population would have been functionally selected for covid genetic immunity (and therefore, resulting in a population in which close to 100% of people had genetic immunity). Evolution is cruel.
