Indian media has been going after Ukraine hard for racism based on some incidents at borders and has taken a lot of Russian propaganda at face value about Indians being held in cities as human shields. I think Indian media generally is very friendly to Modi and this has been to justify his stance. There's support everywhere for NOT collectively punishing the Russian people, and Russians in general, inside or outside of Russia. Leave the innocent people out of this.
I don't support Russia at all and condemn the invasion, but I am critical of those that blindly trust current media as we have seen such narratives around other wars.
