I'm definitely one to push more towards renewable energy and hope battery/storage tech continues to mature and become more cost-effective.
Also worth looking at reducing consumption where possible. Most people in the West are still consuming more per capita than what the world's resources can offer.
Sometimes replacing an older electrical product for a newer one can pay for itself within its lifetime due to the increases in power efficiency of newer ones, certainly so in the UK where electricity is relatively expensive.
