It seems a bit reductive to me. I'm also not sure oil and gas extraction is simple in quite the same way growing avocados might be.
It has a thread of internal consistency but it's not super convincing to me? Just comes off as someone who hates Putin, which is fair, but I'm not sure that makes it accurate.
