I note that canada is not on their index. I'd suggest that this is because it focuses on billionaire wealth, and there are fewer billionaires. But I'd suggest that a huge part of the economy (in some provinces in particular) derives from "cronyism" in the form of government handouts to "elites".

I'm just saying this because the chart is not telling the whole picture. Not to say for example that Canada and places like it are worse than Russia in this regsrd, but way worse than e.g. the US
