I'm not sure if this is troll-y bait post, but I'll take it.

It's quite ironic that you seem to praise Donald Trump while at the same time write

> I hate liars. And I don’t mean innocent lies, I mean gross purely political lies, because not at lies (or omissions) are really bad things. Is it low self confidence on America’s end though? Why is everyone so deluded.

Clearly you didn't follow the Trump presidency closely enough to notice that every third word was a lie for purely political ends, and that those words were spoken from the mouth of a textbook sociopath with zero qualms about it.

But aside from that, all the problems that you mention (overdose, suicide, obesity, etc) are much slower, and much more deeply personal (largely involving families who suffer from the effects in private) than a nuclear power invading another country for a land grab. Its not something to "speak out" about, though it's good to bring awareness around health. It's more complicated than that.

That’s just fake news. You’ll never be right about him. CNN is literal propaganda. Fox News has always been pro right wing, but show me one story on their site with a blatant lie. You won’t be able to. Trump had fun and said stuff to get the media roaring, but everything he said in theory was true. The pro democracy liberal elites banned a sitting president who was democratically elected, let’s not forget. Whether or not trump lies isn’t even the point, but the people America seems to be wanting to defend are the same people who would ban trump for saying something offensive. That’s what I have a problem with. If you want change, stop defending the elites who mess us up. Trumps even pro Ukraine, which doesn’t surprise me since he too is pro democracy. (And I don’t mean that in a bad way). Elon musk is tweeting for likes asking Putin to fight him. He’s most certainly liberal, but pro capitalism. The point is, I guess I’m asking why America says they don’t want censorship and what not, and then defends the same people who’ll spread propaganda about a war and pretend they’re winning etc. I’m just curious if anyone sees it similar to the way I do. Really, maybe my question should be, does America even know what the people up top represent?

> Why are Americans throwing tantrums over a couple incidents of collateral damage in the war, but not our own people dying? 66k fentanyl overdoses will happen this year. It’s all coming from the border. 46k suicides. And the rest obesity.

Because those people kill themselves. I'm obese and it is frankly my fault as I am lazy. If I take drugs, it is also my fault.

I am fine with helping such people, but we are in large part the makers of our own misfortune.

Like they say, humans are creatures of self destruction. Fascinating concept, and fun to watch it play out sometimes, but not at other times.
