Wow, great nostalgia looking at these photos.

None of the screens show the obligatory colored bar graph and pie charts, an image often used to convey “this computer is also serious!” to the on-the-fence parents that were contemplating their wide-eyed kids’ pleas.

I have a pic of me behind my first msx early 80s which looks somewhat like this [0] (and indeed I still hate pictures taken of me). When I showed it to my wife she said something like; ‘should I check your man cave for sawed up body parts?’.

You could still run the world on those. Software has just become really terrible. The keyboards were much better back then.
