So, essentially the question is why doesn't everyone agree with your opinion?

Not aware that Lisp inspires hatred and rage anymore. I also think Ocaml is respected, but perhaps these are just my personal opinions.

At any rate even if everyone agreed with your opinion there is such a thing as sunk investments and the availability of skills in the labor pool so I do not believe the people in charge of business decisions will do it, even if they were going around thinking it was a good idea.
