A former soldier he tries to give a balanced view of what is happening.

For example we hear a lot that Russian soldiers have low moral, he says that typically all soldiers in all wars have something to complain about. That seems more balanced to me.

The more mainstream sources tend to repeat the same things over and over without any kind of proof.

To HN. Actually was hopping for technical news, but seems that propaganda is more important.

Reuters. They tend to be the least narrative driven.
