The very first sentence of this article is objectively wrong. No modern Chinese reader can read oracle script without significant training. Is it worth reading the rest of the article?
It's even worse than that. Right before that, the article claims that the Chinese language is "almost the same as the first inscriptions from nearly 3,200 years ago".
Yeah that's actually the sentence I was responding to. It's such an objectively wrong claim that I couldn't bring myself to read any more.
