Unfortunately, just because she is clueless doesn't mean she doesn't pose a threat:

Would make interviewing a whole lot easier
I agree, get rid of algorithms.

Damned algorithms, they ruined programming.

Algorithms: Ruining computer programming since 2500 BC.
If I've learned anything from countless gun control debates online, it's that laughing at your opposition for misusing technical terminology is the best way to win a debate.

I have to say that social media have lost their usefulness to me with their algorithms.

Before Facebook moved to the timeline it showed me just the posts my friends had made. It was sometimes a lot but it was easy to understand where I'd left off.

Since the timeline they add random crap to it which I have no interest in (their algorithms always assume I want more of the same when it's actually the opposite). And they hide many posts of my friends instead which was the whole reason I signed up for it.

In the end I just left it. It's not for me anymore.

Of course asking Microsoft as if they're the authority is ridiculous but the social media filtering algorithms are a bad thing IMO.

Microsoft will ditch algorithms when scientists ditch math.
