Ask HN: Did you know that your brain reads faster than your eye?

I’m new here and hope you forgive me if I didn’t choose the right HN channel.

I am looking for interested people who would like to integrate the reading mode Bionic Reading as API into their apps or services. The beta API is expected to be ready by the end of April.

The prototype of Bionic Reading so far is already available in 3 RSS apps. In “Reeder 4+5”, in “Fiery Feeds” and in “Lire”.

Now I want to make the reading mode available to as many people as possible. Moms and dads, students, CEOs, people with dyslexia and many more write to me. And also many who can read even faster with Bionic Reading than before.

It's generally frowned upon to use Ask HN for self promotion. You should be using Show HN.

Did you know you can read more than one word or line of text at a time?

Thank you for your feedback. My point is simply that the 10% of all people with reading difficulties can benefit... That's why I had written.

But thanks for the hint to use Show HN. And sorry for that.

Yes, you can train and expand your focus. That would be speed reading though. And you have to learn that. Bionic Reading works intuitively.
