Why does it say 10 reasons when there are 9 reasons?
Off by one error. Not uncommon.
It's just a base-nine title for a base-ten article. It's unconventional, but I'm sure it has some rhetorical purpose.
Unlikely to hold interest for anyone here, the points are simplistic in the extreme, as though the author is early on his software development journey. Godspeed, software developer.
My first comp sci job was a unix/Linux shop so I got an early start ... from time to time I use osx or windows only to maintain a grip as to their ease of use from a server side developer perspective and I must say getting over the hump of learning linux is effort well spent
