Ask HN: LinkedIn Sent Invitations Automatically

I would like to know whether anyone experiences Linkedin sends invitations for connecting on behalf of you without your permission? I casually get notifications which inform me that someone has accepted my invitation which I never sent. I want to contact Linkedin customer support but it seems there is only a Help page.

This has never happened to me. Did you ever share your e-mail contacts with LinkedIn? (Under your LinkedIn "Account preferences", select "Syncing options", then "Sync contacts" to see if your contact lists are being synced with LinkedIn.)

Thanks for the reply. Just checked the settings and I do not turn on the "Sync contacts" feature. This is super weird.
