It appears Vertex made an update 2 weeks ago (14-Mar-22), but we don’t know what the update was. It must have been positive, if they go on CNBC and express hope in the technology.
Unfortunately, this requires the use of immunosuppressive therapy, which is going to make it a non-starter for nearly every diabetic in otherwise reasonably good health.
