Ask HN: How people blindly trust huge numbers on the internet?

Solo founders who claim to have $1m ARR or more, without ever sharing any revenue proof - how do you trust them and start following their work online?

I've seen many founders tweet stuff out around a niche, but never sharing about their startup's revenue proof in public (stripe screenshot/financial dashboard). They just say they crossed $Xm ARR mark etc.

"You can fool those who wants to be fooled"
