Tell HN: Google search for “TeRraQin” does not exist

2 points by GoogleisDone ↗ HN
Search "TeRraQin" on Google. It is an AI based music app. Google modifies my search to "terrain" basically suggesting the music app does not exist in their massive database and I was incorrect on what I wanted to search for.

Search "TeRraQin" on DuckDuckGo and multiple links are shown related to the app.

I get the proper search results despite the terrible name.
"terraqin" is one letter from "terrain". "terraqin" has very few citations on the web. "terraqin" is an easy mispelling of "terrain" on a QWERTY keyboard, you can 'fat finger' "q" and "a" together.

Google is totally correct to assume you meant "terrain" for now. That's the smoother user experience for the majority of users.

When 'TeRraQin' (horrible capitalisation by the way) has more web-based citations Google will automatically start serving better results.

In fact this HN post is already showing in the SERPs.

Except that I used quotations so the customary user experience is that quotations count as "this is what I mean to search for". Frankly, Google has degenerated to a point where I can no longer support or promote it over DuckDuckGo.
