The whole point of the US Digital Service (https://www.usds.gov/) was to make this better. I'm curious as to whether they were involved with this, or was this developed along the usual broken processes.
Of course, a part of this is coming up with standards so aggregators such as this do something actually useful. Doesn't look like that was started.
