I do want to push back against the professor quoted as saying that this leg is conclusive proof that the herbivores didn't have feathers. Because to me, that leg looks like a bird leg. Bird legs are scaly and don't have feathers. And it's reasonable to wonder if these animals were somewhere in between - some feathering in some places, but not totally covered in them.

I'm not saying they necessarily _did_ have feathers. Just that I don't think that prof stands on firm ground making that statement with such certainty. Makes it seem like he just has his favorite theory bone to pick.
