You're submitting a new HTTP request with each keystroke, which makes the back arrow reaalllllyyyy annoying.
As a matter of fact, this site submits no HTTP requests at all aside from the initial fetching of resources on page load :)

But I see what you mean, I might put in a delay when updating results.

For some reason, it actually refetches the favicon with every keystroke. Which isn't a ton of traffic, but it's certainly excessive.
I hadn't caught that, thanks! I'll look into it when I get a chance!
This is a Chrome bug, it does not happen in Firefox. I replaced the icon with a 16x16 icon instead of 256x and now it also behaves as expected in Chrome. Thanks for the report! :)
Came here to mention this. Great idea for website however. Perhaps one of the most disappointing cliffhanger ends was the TV show "Startup".
