Ask HN: Anybody else find OS X 12.2.1 echoes password in web forms?

My son was just typing his password into the screen unlock field, and when it unlocked the password was in the highlighted web form he'd left selected.

Is this new behavior in 12.2.1? And old bug?

It seems concerning.
