Why META's career page is broken?

Probably a rant, but I expect way more from a company which makes it a business to know so much about everyone. Why does their Career page not work at all? Every single job role, I have to literally fill up my entire resume, the auto detection doesn't work (I tried multiple resume formats that support ATS system), it doesn't recognize that I am already signed into my profile. Compared to this Amazon Jobs works great, it remembers everything and you just have to hit submit to a position of your choice. And despite filling everything manually, the META's career page tells you it will send a confirmation email, but you never receive one.

Normally I go for "never ascribe to malice what you can explain with incompetence". In the case of a careers page though, I'd take it as a signal that it's there as a courtesy to make people feel good, and they don't really recruite that way. I could be completely wrong though - I'd be curious what percentage of hires come though the website.

Re Amazon, they are much more likely across their business to depend on unsolicited online applications for staffing, so I'm not surprised they are easier.

Try using Chrome. I had numerous issues with it in Firefox that don’t appear in Chrome.
I am using latest version of Chrome on Windows 10. I also don't have any strange adblockers/ublock origin, jsblocker - none
