Is anyone doing Continuous Deployment?
I might be in a backwater IT market but the fact of the matter is that no company that I know of does CD in this market.
In fact most of them don't actually do agile. They're doing something like longish waterfall with manual QA and deployment.
The really weird thing though is that they do microservices - which looks more like a distributed monolith TBH.
What is happening? Is CD dead(ish) in the water?

[ 2.6 ms ] story [ 15.0 ms ] threadAgile is cool if you have no dependencies. If you have to tie into some 15yo legacy system with a static release cycle its not so agile anymore.
Same with CD and microservices. I cant count how many times i had a requirement "dont deploy to prod before x.y.z" because thats when the required changes on some old system would go live. And even then you need approval of like three different departments...
