Would be great if companies could do this on their own rather than having to be forced kicking and screaming
Companies are made of individuals. Who are these sociopaths that choose to believe that this behavior is anything but deleterious? Why does that behavior seem to be the standard means of achieving global “success” in business?
I mean whats wrong with collecting 79+ points of telemetry secretly through hundreds of apps? Why would I ever want to opt out or turn it off? I love clicking on a link that says I am not a robot and having Google cross reference my IRL telemetry stream with the box to prove I STILL THINK I AM HUMAN.

Wait... scratch that. What I really want is a list of ads that have targeted me because of my data, and the real time historical data, that they actually sell, given to me in a digestible format so that I can say ... hey wait, that's actually really messed up you did that.
