Ask HN: Will I get my ability to flag back?

On the news of Steve Jobs' death I upvoted several of the most thoughtful pieces on the front page. As the day went on I became increasingly frustrated with the barrage of Jobs related articles and proceeded to flag several of the less unique/interesting ones in a short space of time.

My ability to flag articles has now been revoked, is this permanent or has my karma threshold merely been increased? (I do not have sufficient karma for down voting anyway)
