Ask HN: How to Pick a Specialisation?
I’m broadly interested in many areas of CS, but not in anything specific.
I’d like to do meaningful work.
I would like to hear from people who have specialised as to how they chose their field.
Does it matter all that much?

Personally I have never seen a programmer (except of some pure scientists) which would not be an asshole just doing everything he's being told, for money, no matter how harmful.
