I look at the list and the ones I have read are awesome or I know other people find the others awesome.
Take Of Mice and Men, how many N-bombs are dropped in that one? That's acceptable?Or should that book be banned? Maybe not banned, but why are we boosting these to be read in school? Does this really enrich us? Is there not a giant list of better books that could be read in its place?
What if teaching this book in high school encourages or creates anti-black racism? Often in class they are trying to teach you something and covering the n-word might be what is causing racism in the USA? Or is this attempting to stop racism by bringing it to light?
