Would be an interesting turn of event if LinkedIn started to lobby for a US GDPR.
That would be a great way to solve this issue if LinkedIn cares about users’ privacy. Otherwise I’m afraid they go the Pinterest or Quora route and just gate even “public” info behind a log in (they already do this for most user info).
