As part of our mission of giving more opportunity to women who are working in digital sector, online business and casual technology users. KIVUHUB is helping women in the east of Congo a region where more the 5 million of people lost life during decades of war and millions of women were raped by providing counselling, support and reporting skills/tools to tackle VBG issue while using internet.
Our program links women/girls with Referral clinics across the region and country by providing them online tools to report anonymously all type of cyber crime from cyberbullying, cyber exportation, online harassment , revenge porn, reputation damage and others type of violence all in privacy. The aim is to give women a safe ,secure and private platform to report VBG Violence’s.
Istanbul Convention (Art.3) violence against women is “…all acts of gender-based violence that result in, or are likely to result in, physical, sexual, psychological or economic harm or suffering to women, including threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in public or in private life
