The new first paragraph probably makes the rest of the article moot, eh?
It’s amazing to see people come out of the woodwork to denounce him owning it but never mention the very biased way the company is currently run.
The people denouncing it seem to also have no problem with one of the largest newspapers in the country being owned by Bezos so take that how you will.
It’s amazing right? watching these people in real-time download a new narrative overnight. 2 years ago he was their darling, saving the world and fighting climate change. Now “he’s LiTeRaLLy HiTL3R !1!1! “

They don’t even question what they’re saying it’s as if a toggle gets checked and they immediately download a new software update.

Bezos buys Washington Post and turns it into his megaphone, and that's OK, but Musk tries to buy Twitter and its' the end of the world?
Because owning a social media company that dominates culture is equivalent to owning a newspaper.
A lot of people do avoid the Washington Post because of Bezos' ownership, though. Although I don't really see Bezos using it as his megaphone. It seems to be more or less the same center-left paper as it was before. I don't read it every day, but I don't see articles saying Amazon is great or that unions are bad in it when I do.
It sounds like we agree then It's not the end of the world.
A remarkably nuanced view of the situation.
What rogue? This is capitalism doing exactly what it is designed to do. If anything it’s a better critique of capitalism than it is of Musk.
