What’s a pinoygram?
It's a joke only for wanderers of Mother Earth, Mother Board, who are old hands at this sort of thing.
Reference to a plot element in Neal Stephensen's book, Cryptonomicon which included a startup for pinoy-grams enabled by a new submarine fiber-optic cable.

These submarine fiber projects are pretty awesome. A google consortium ran one from Hawaii to Tahiti a dozen years ago and the overnight the internet went from satellite based misery to 30ms latency nirvana.
