Bild is a dirty far-right propaganda medium. Please ignore it.
Max Goldt about Bild:
"Diese Zeitung ist ein Organ der Niedertracht. Es ist falsch, sie zu lesen. Jemand, der zu dieser Zeitung beiträgt, ist gesellschaftlich absolut inakzeptabel. Es wäre verfehlt, zu einem ihrer Redakteure freundlich oder auch nur höflich zu sein. Man muß so unfreundlich zu ihnen sein, wie es das Gesetz gerade noch zuläßt. Es sind schlechte Menschen, die Falsches tun."
I don’t know who Max Goldt is, nor why someone should care what his opinion on Bild is. But I would like people to critique the actual content of the article, instead of resorting to ad-hominem attacks on sources they dislike.
Yes, Bild is a tabloid, but I’ve seen this strategy employed even on more “reputable” sources, like Spiegel for example.
Usually, Bild articles are paywalled. This one is not, but it forces you to disable your ad blocker, something I certainly won't do.
But Bild has long lost any sort of reputation in Germany and it's absolutely not worth reading their articles. They are on the same level as the worst Murdoch dreck. There's a whole website dedicated to disproving their lies and uncovering their propaganda: https://bildblog.de

I don’t see that being dedicated to that. Its tagline claims to be critical about all German media, and in the side bar it says it links to manually selected articles worthy of reading. (“handverlesene Links zu lesenswerten Geschichten aus alten und neuen Medien”)

So you quote a satirical author and info about a scandal that, as far as I can tell, has nothing to do with their content as evidence that none of their articles are worth reading, and didn’t read the article?

If this was not enough, there's more news about their former editor-in-chief: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/oct/22/scandal-rocks-...
Btw., Springer bought Politico last year, so they are trying to expand their reach to US politics: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/08/26/business/politico-axel-sp...

It's an interesting interview with president Zelenskiy and this article I think is worth reading.
