macOS Noob: Fontconfig Alternative?

Is there an alternative of “fontconfig” for MacOS?

I have been a long time user of Linux and might want to switch to Apple.

I use fontconfig for my font replacements and OpenType font features (stylistic sets). I have been searching on this without any luck.

Any advice or option that I could have?

Not sure what you're asking; bare-bones font config on macOS is done in fontbook.app

Yes but I could not find any references that show FontBook provides setting font features. Is that possible?
