I'm going through something like this right now. I'm the only one (I think) who has known what was likely to happen based on the consultant's wording from the start. I've had the same conversations. It's strangely comforting to read this. Thanks for sharing.

This was a tough read. I've been on the other side of this when my wife passed. Not knowing if you have days or weeks or months ahead is hard, both on the person suffering but also their family. Thankfully the hospice was amazing and they really helped her through the last 10 months of her life. It was a rough road.

Not at all what I expected. It's a good read on a tough topic.
