I love their new silicone charging cables. Nice texture! And their 25600mAh battery is incredible for long trips where you can't find a plug. Anker's had a pretty impressive streak of good products over the years and I hope for many more.
They obviously found a good niche, people don't want to be overcharged for "premium" accessories and the cheapest stuff is usually useless or dangerous.
Wasn't this one of the companies temporarily banned from Amazon due to fake reviews?
You're probably thinking of Aukey.
I've been impressed with the products I buy from them.

Bought their nano pro duo usb-c power brick, works great.

Replaced my dying roomba with a Eufy, I sold the roomba on Ebay with full disclosure that it was dying and bought the Eufy, the eufy is quieter, has lasted longer, and while it doesn't clean quite as well, it does the job and doesn't beat my rug.

I like their cables.

I replaced my nest cam, with one of their security cameras, it sends nothing to the cloud and stores everything on a memory card. Camera was half the price, higher resolution, tilts and swivels. No monthly fee. Works with homekit.

Their stuff is never the best, but the price/performance ratio frequently can't be beat.

Very good ergonomic mouse. I like the lateral shape. $25. Logitech equivalent is over $80.

Had two over the last 6 years. The second one is still working fines

If Apple and Samsung's products were quality and durable, this probably wouldn't be an issue. But instead they're being greedy with undue markup and making cheep accessories. This probably wouldn't be a thing if it wasn't for cables that stop working.
Their Soundcore speakers are so good. Charge bricks are great too, albeit gets hot while idling.

Good brick + long braided cables is way to go. Crazy it’s not apple’s default.
